For nearly 2 years I’ve been imagining on going for a sunset drive on Highway 1. On 8/31/2018 I finally made it happen with the addition of some amazing company and my beautiful girlfriend. The drive was exactly from Davenport to Daly City which was about 1 hour, and 57 miles of driving alongside the ocean sunset. The drive was so beautiful, to hear the humming of my boxer engine and the ocean breeze pushing against my window as I drive. Looking out the driver side window, I noticed the ocean waves crashing, the sunlight burning through the trees and lighting up the earths curves. From time to time I would look up at my rear view mirror to see my friends behind me in their own cars and felt blistered with happiness to see this moment happen of sharing my love and passion for cars with others who feel the same way.
Order of Complexity /
Many of us go through the order of complexity, a theory from Bill Eskstrom. The order of complexity is when order is changed, comfort turns to uncomfortable and outcomes are unpredictable. You can either embraces it or dwell in it and sadly I find that many people seem to dwell in it and I just want to remind everyone to keep pushing forward and embrace it because it is the only environment you are in. Normally at the end of the order complexity a lesson is learned, we commonly see this in super hero movies when they meet a villain stronger than the themselves. One small example I am sure everyone has been through is hot soup. When we were young and a knew less we were more willing to make mistakes so we go after anything. We never knew that hot soup could burn our tongue till the first time we sipped it and in that moment we freaked out and calmed down and learned to be more careful next time we consume soup. So remember, embrace discomfort and move forward. Happy Hump Day everyone<3
